Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos
Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos are the perfect appetizer or side dish for any get-together. When the weather starts warming up these are always one of the first things on our menu to grill. They are also just as tasty cooked in the oven. Spicy Jalapenos with a creamy cheese filling, add some bacon, and it doesn’t get much better than that.
Stuffed Jalapenos are one of those easy recipes that is always a crowd pleaser. I like to leave my Jalapenos whole and use a small knife to clean out the insides. When they are completely deseeded I will add my favorite cheeses. I like to mix cream cheese with shredded mozzarella, and I always add a dash of salt. You can also add any other seasonings you like to give them an extra kick.
Next, grab your favorite bacon and start wrapping your jalapenos. Make sure you try to cover most of the cheese with the bacon. This will prevent them from oozing out all that yummy cheese. I picked up some extra thick cut bacon so I was able to cut my strips of bacon in half. After they are wrapped, secure your bacon with a toothpick, or two, and they are ready to cook.
My families’ favorite way to cook these are on the grill. Pop them on for 20 minutes, or until the edges of your jalapenos start to slightly blacken, and the bacon gets crispy. Yum. You can also cook these in the oven, and they are just as tasty.
I hope you give my Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos a try at your next BBQ, or whip up some for game day. They are sure to be a hit. As always, tag me on Instagram, if you give these a try. And follow along with The Four Acre Farm for Easy Homemade Recipes, Gardening Tips, & Budget Friendly DIY.
