Crock Pot Beef Stew Ingredients

The ingredients you will need for Crock Pot Beef Stew are, potatoes, mixed veggies, broth, and Lipton soup mix. Easy enough, right? Just add all the ingredients in a crock pot and you are good to go.

I like to cook my stew meat ahead of time, especially so I can use it for several different recipes. Meal prep is my favorite, and you can use roast beef in so many ways. I have listed a few of my favorite beef recipes below.

Should you cover your Stew Meat in liquid?

It is best to leave the meat slightly above the liquid. I like to add the seasonings to the top of the uncovered layer of roast to ensure it soaks up the most flavor. If it is completely submerged, you will likely have a flavorful broth, but your meat will be bland.

What causes Beef Stew Meat to be tough?

If your meat is tough. It is likely under-cooked. The best part of cooking in a crock pot is that you can get a tender bite every time. Cooking low and slow will ensure your meat is super tender.

Crock Pot Clean Up Tip

I told you I had a tip that will make your life easier. Now that you have eaten your delicious meal, all that’s left to do is clean up. I recommend using a crockpot liner to make for easy clean up.

Then when your done eating you can just pull out the liner and throw it away. Slow Cooker Liners are perfect for saving time when cooking. These liners make clean up a breeze, and are very inexpensive.
