Easy Berry Tartlet Recipe
This Easy Berry Tartlet Recipe made with sugar cookie dough is the perfect sweet treat. This mini version of a fruit pizza is my go-to dessert because it is so simple and they are always a hit.
My husband has a big family, and I can never make enough of these. They literally line up and fight over them. I also have a cookie sheet sized fruit pizza recipe that is also perfect for a crowd.
Best Tartlet Recipe Toppings
I have found that berries are by far the most popular topping on my tarts, specifically strawberry. But you can add whatever fruit you like, or even candies would be cute. These little tarts would also be the perfect treat to make for a kids (or adult) party, and let everyone add their own toppings.
Tartlet Recipe Tips
I have a couple tips for creating the perfect fruit tart every time. First, make sure to let your cream cheese set to room temperature before whipping up your frosting. Cream cheese is my secret weapon for this recipe, and it is so much better when it softens. Trust me you don’t want a lumpy topping.
Another tip for this recipe is to make sure to let your cookie dough cool completely before adding your icing and toppings. This will make sure your icing stays perfectly whipped.
This Easy Berry Tartlet Recipe is a must try for your next family get together, or even next Monday night. Any time is the right time for cookie tarts. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.
