Crock Pot Fried Apples

Crock Pot Fried Apples are a delicious and easy way to use up apples, especially if you have a large amount. Fried Apples are one of those nostalgic foods that brings me right back to childhood. The best part is how diverse fried apples are. You can serve them hot for breakfast, or as a side dish. You can even add them over ice cream for the perfect dessert. Keep reading below for this yummy recipe.

Hot apples are just one of those comfort foods that are good all year round. Of course, you can whip them up on the stove top, but even better is cooking them in the crock pot. I love to add something to the crock pot and almost be able to forget about it. It’s like hands free cooking!

The most time-consuming part of cooking fried apples is peeling them. My least favorite part. But after that it is smooth sailing. Just peels your apples, and chop to your desired size. Then pop them in your crock pot with some spices and sugar and you are good to go.

I love to add cinnamon, brown, sugar, and vanilla. But you can really use any spices you like. Just don’t forget to add some water, and butter for good measure. I also like to add a little flour and water mixture right at the end, if I want to thicken up my fried apples. This makes them extra good over ice cream.
