Apple Pie Foldovers

Apple Pie Foldovers are the perfect “semi-homemade” dessert. Made with your favorite apples and a premade pie crust these are so easy to make, and taste delicious. Keep reading below to find out my Easy Apple Pie Foldover recipe.

What are Foldovers?

Foldovers are easy pies made with store bought pie crusts, or you can make your own homemade crust. Just roll out the crust, add pie filling in the center, and fold over the edges. Hence the name foldover. So easy, and so delicious.

Best Crust to use for Apple Pie Recipes

I love to keep store bought Pie Crusts on hand. They are so versatile, and you can easily whip up something impressive in no time flat. You will need 2 pie crusts, but you can also split the recipe in half, and make just one. Each foldover can serve about 4 pieces.

Best Apple Pie Filling

This recipe is perfect to make with store bought pie filling. But I also have a delicious Apple Filling Recipe. All you need to do is add the filling to your crust, and fold over the edges. This creates a little pocket for your pie filling that is perfect topped with vanilla ice cream.

How long to Cook Foldovers?

Now all that is left to do is pop your foldovers into the oven at 450 degrees until the crust is nice and brown. You can cook on one side then flip for an even golden crust. Around 15 minutes total.
