Best ways to serve your Fried Apple Recipe
Fried Apples are one of those nostalgic foods that brings me right back to childhood. The best part is how diverse fried apples are.
You can serve them hot for breakfast, or as a side dish. You can even add them over ice cream for the perfect dessert. Keep reading below for this yummy recipe.
Best ways to cook Fried Apples
Hot apples are just one of those comfort foods that are good all year round. I whipped this batch up on the stove top, but you can also cook them in the crock pot. I love to add something to the crock pot and almost be able to forget about it.
Fried Apples are also an easy way to use up apples, especially if you have a large amount. The most time-consuming part of cooking fried apples is peeling them. My least favorite part. But after that it is smooth sailing.
Just peels your apples, and chop to your desired size. Then pop them in a pot with some spices and sugar and you are good to go.
Fried Apple Recipe Ingredients
I love to add cinnamon, brown, sugar, and vanilla. But you can really use any spices you like. Just don’t forget to add some water, and butter for good measure.
You can also add a little extra flour and water mixture right at the end, if I want to thicken up your apples. This makes them extra good over ice cream.
