Halloween Decoration Ideas
Halloween Decoration Ideas, just in time for fall, that won’t break the bank. Keep reading below to find out how you can use a couple of cute inexpensive décor pieces to decorate your home in no time for fall and Halloween.
How to make Halloween decorations on a budget?
When it comes fall time, I am always running behind because I have so many projects I want to start. Usually my decorations are nonexistent, but this year I am determined to step up my game, on a budget of course.
First of all, my top tip is to go to your favorite home décor store, and see what catches your eye. Then think of items you may already have that you could use to get a similar affect. Repurposing is my favorite way to stretch my budget.
How to easily decorate your house for Halloween?
When I was out shopping, I noticed this super cute bat shower curtain. I really loved this piece, but I though to myself, “How much use will I actually get out of this, and where am I going to store it for the rest of the year?”
After thinking it over, I realize that I have a pretty neutral shower curtain, so why not add something on top of my shower curtain that I already have.
Shop Your Halloween Decoration Stash
So, when I got home I pull out all of my fall décor, and decided this little witch door wreath would make my shower curtain so much cuter, and I didn’t have to spend a penny. Don’t be afraid to shop your stash, and use something you already have in a different way.
What are the decorations for Halloween?
When I think of Halloween decorations, witches, and pumpkins, and skeletons come to mind. I love to skip over fall and go straight to Halloween. Then after October 31 switch out little items here and there to transition into fall and Thanksgiving.
One thing that can easily be switched out on a budget are hand towels. So buy a few cheap hand towels to sprinkle through your home. Start with more Halloween items, then switch to fall. Hand towels are the perfect inexpensive decoration item.
Cheap Halloween Decoration Ideas
A couple of other budget friendly items you can use to decorate for Halloween are hand soaps. A cute Halloween bottle of hand soap makes for the perfect inexpensive touch on your countertop.
You can add cheap fall flowers to your home to add pops of fall colors. The dollar tree is my favorite place to find fall florals.
Books are also an easy way to change up your décor. Use books you already have to stack up for decorations. Bonus points if they are Halloween colors.
