Homemade Breakfast Burritos are super easy to make and always a hit. I love a good breakfast burrito, but nothing compares to a homemade version. They are hands down the best. Keep reading below to find out how I made my Homemade Breakfast Burritos.

The Best Meat for Breakfast Burritos

First, you start with the meat, my favorite is bacon, but sausage and ham are also great options. I just throw my bacon in the air fryer or oven and let it cook while I prep the other ingredients.

If you have not given air fryer bacon a try, I highly recommend. If you prefer a more stick straight piece of bacon the oven cooks bacon perfectly every time as well.

The Best Tortilla for Breakfast Burritos

The next step to making a great breakfast burrito is the tortilla. I prefer a flour tortilla for breakfast burritos, but corn also works great too. I try to swap out for healthy options when I can, and the low carb tortillas are a great swap. If you have not tried them, I recommend.

The best part about breakfast burritos is you can add any of your favorite breakfast items. My top three items are eggs, cheese, and bacon. But the best part of my homemade burritos are the potatoes. If you have not tried a potato in your burritos, you are missing out.

How to make Homemade Breakfast Burritos

These burritos are so simple, all you have to do is add scrambled eggs, cheese, potatoes, and bacon to your favorite tortilla. You can also add picante sauce if you like a little spice. I like to add picante inside my burrito, and them dip in ketchup. The combination is chef’s kiss.

Homemade Breakfast Burritos

Easy Homemade Breakfast Burritos

  • 6-8 Flour Tortilla's
  • 6 Eggs (scrambled)
  • 5-6 Medium Potatoes
  • 8 pieces of Bacon
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2-3 tbsp Water
  1. Add bacon to air fryer at 375 degrees and cook until crispy. You can also cook bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven at 375 degrees.

  2. Peel Potatoes and dice into small pieces. Add to a microwave safe container with water, butter, and salt and pepper to taste. Place lid on top, but do not seal. Cook in the microwave for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.

  3. In a medium skillet scramble eggs. You can add 1/4 cup cheese to the eggs (optional)

  4. Warm tortillas in microwave, and start assembling your burritos.

  5. Place tortilla on plate, and top with eggs, shredded cheese, potatoes, and bacon. Add picante sauce if you want a little extra flavor.

  6. Roll up tortillas, serve hot, and enjoy!

  7. **Tip try dipping them in ketchup. It is my absolute favorite.
