Easy Salsa Recipe
Homemade Salsa Recipe. This quick and easy Salsa recipe is the perfect snack, or addition to your favorite dish. It will definitely keep you coming back for more, I promise.
I have been on a mission to make perfect salsa recipe. The kind you get at your favorite restaurant, but BETTER. With all of the tomatoes coming in from our garden, I figured now is the perfect time.
The best part of this recipe is I make it all in my blender. Sometimes, when I’m lazy, I just pop the lid on, and put the whole blender full of salsa right in the fridge. But that’s our little secret.
But what if you don’t have a blender? I knew you may ask…just use what you have. Do not go out and buy a blender. You can use a food processor, a knife, your hands. The options are endless, so let’s get started making the best Homemade Garden Salsa.
Homemade Salsa Recipe Ingredients
Tomatoes – (of course) I use fresh tomatoes from our garden, but like I said earlier, use what you have. You can use store bought, or even canned tomatoes. I just prefer the fresh taste. Plus I have buckets full.
Peppers – I use jalapeños when I am making a mild recipe, but you can use whatever kind of pepper you want, depending on the amount of heat you like. I have made some using ghost peppers, but I’ll try <most> anything.
Lime Juice – I use lime juice for that extra kick, and to add some acid, in case you would like to can your salsa.
Corn – (this is completely optional) but I love to add some fresh corn out of the garden to my salsa.
Seasonings – I use garlic powder, onion powder, sugar (don’t worry), salt, and Mrs. Wages Salsa Mix (but I do not follow the recipe).
