Carrots were one of my favorite ways to eat veggies growing up, and I still love them to this day. I like to eat carrots all kinds of ways. I especially love a little sweet and spicy dish. So hot honey is the perfect pair for these carrots.
If you love a good sweet carrot like me, you will also have to try the most popular recipe on my blog, Maple Brown Sugar Carrots. They are almost good enough to eat for dessert. We are a carrot loving family, so I have you covered in that area. Growing up, my mom would cook these Lemon Pepper Carrots as a side dish with chicken and potatoes. So don’t forget to check those out too.
But for now, we will be cooking our Hot Honey Roasted Carrots which are savory, but still have a sweet kick. There is just something about the spice from the honey that makes these irresistible, and you can’t forget to add a dash of cinnamon. Yum.
My biggest tip for these carrots, is to cook them until they are good and tender. I like everything cooked extra done, but when these carrots get slightly brown on the edges they are perfection.
