Glazed Carrots are the perfect easy side dish. Made with Brown Sugar these carrots are delightfully sweet, and almost good enough to be a dessert.
The glaze is so tasty it will have you wanting to lick your plate clean. This is a judgement free zone so feel free to lick away. But you don’t just have to make glazed carrots sweet.

Carrots are probably my favorite garden veggie to cook. First of all, they are just the cutest, but they are also so versatile. You can spice them up all sorts of ways, and make them fit with any sort of dinner plans.

I like to boil my carrots first, to get them good and tender. Then drain off the water, and start making a glaze with brown sugar and butter. It is a truly simple recipe.

Maple Brown Sugar Carrots
Quick and Easy Maple & Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots
- 8-10 large Carrots (Or* 1 Bag of Baby Carrots)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Bring a pot of water to a boil
Peel & cut carrots to desired size
Boil carrots 10-15 min or until tender
Drain water off carrots
Add butter, brown sugar, and syrup to carrots and return to heat
Simmer 10 minutes or until ingredients start to reduce creating a sweet glaze
