Mini Chocolate Rolls
Mini Chocolate Rolls are the perfect bite sized sweet treat. I love to make these for special occasions because they seem so fancy. But they are so simple, no one will know they are semi-homemade.
Of course, I use refrigerated store bought pie crusts because they make things so much easier. I honestly prefer the taste of the store bought pie crusts. But if you want to get extra fancy you can make your own dough.
To make my Mini Chocolate Rolls, I take one pie crust and cut it into 4 equal pieces. Then spoon a tablespoon, or so, of the chocolate filling inside, and fold it up almost like an envelope. Be sure not to overfill to keep your chocolate from oozing out during baking.
These taste just like an Old Fashioned Chocolate roll, but without all the work. I always make these for my grandparents for the holidays. Mostly so they will go on and on about how good they are. You know grandparents are good for an ego boost. : )
If you are wanting to impress your guests, be sure to whip up a batch of these Mini Chocolate Rolls. They will never know you didn’t spend all day in the kitchen. I also have a big version of my Chocolate Rolls, if you are baking for a crowd. Be sure to tag me on Instagram if you give this recipe a try.
