This Pulled BBQ Chicken has all the flavor, and gooey sauce, without the hassle of a grill. The best part is you can make it in the crock pot, and your family is sure to love it. Keep reading below to find out my easy Pulled BBQ Chicken Crock Pot recipe. And make sure you follow my tip for easy clean up, you won’t regret it.
Pulled BBQ Chicken Queen
Now, I am the queen of BBQ. I even had it at my wedding. Classy…I know, but I think that makes me extra qualified. My husband and I love to use boneless skinless chicken thighs. They are so tender, and juicy.
If you have not tried them, trust me, they are a game changer. I am picky when it comes to chicken, and I choose them over breast meat. We typically use chicken thighs or chicken breasts interchangeably for this recipe.
Pulled BBQ Chicken Ingredients
The five ingredients you will need are granulated garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Kraft Original BBQ Sauce, Salt, and Pepper. You can use your favorite BBQ sauce. Kraft just happens to be mine. Now, all that is left to do is pop your chicken in the crock pot, and cover both sides with all the ingredients. Easy enough, right?
Is it better to cook chicken on high or low in slow cooker?
Your chicken will likely be more tender if you cook it on low. I do cook my chicken on high from time to time, if I am in a rush. The best part of cooking in a crock pot is that you can get a tender bite every time, no matter what the temperature. But cooking chicken low and slow will ensure your meat is super tender.
Crock Pot Clean Up Tip
I hope this BBQ Chicken gives you back yard BBQ vibes right in your kitchen. Now all that’s left to do is clean up. I recommend using a crock pot liner to make for easy clean up. Then when your done eating you can just pull out the liner and throw it away.
