Carrots are probably my favorite garden veggie to cook. First of all, they are just the cutest, but they are also so versatile. You can spice them up all sorts of ways, and make them fit with any sort of dinner plans. If you love carrots, but are not a big fan of spice, you can check out my most popular recipe on the blog, Maple Glazed Carrots. They are insanely good, if I don’t say so myself. ๐
I also love how carrots are so simple to cook up, yet they always seem so fancy. If you are wanting to impress a crowd, cook up some carrots with the tops on. Everyone will think you are a professional chef. I am all about an easy dish that wows.
I like to boil my carrots first to get them good an tender. Then drain off the water, and start making a glaze with brown sugar and butter. Next, add some spice, and the secret ingredient, orange juice. It is a truly simple recipe.
